As of midday today (Monday) exactly half the Tickets (50) for our event have already been reserved. Not bad considering it was only announced late last week ! So, if you haven't reserved already, then please contact me, and I'll email you your Ticket number(s) by return. (Brief apologies to those who tried to email me at the weekend - the Virgin Net email server was down all day Sunday - but I think I've got all your weekend messages in now !...) If possible, please be fairly prompt re ticket payments, as myself and Jocelyn currently have a bill of about #1800 hanging around our neck for booking this whole shebang, which we have to pay by mid-January. If anyone wins the lottery in the meantime, do let us know, and we'll switch the Venue to somewhere in the Caribbean. Probably. Either that, or maybe the whole lot of us could go on tour. Either would do. However, dreaming of lottery wins aside, a special Webpage with more details about 'A Mad Affair' will be going up in January. All details will, of course, be posted right here. It's been a great year. Have a Cool Yule. She was given a traditional Highland welcome with a lone piper. Instead of playing a traditional Pibroch, he was playing 'Like A Virgin' on his bagpipes which just sounded so hilarious. She is being married on Friday 10 miles from where I am working in a place called Dornoch which all the news people from south of Carlisle are making a complete hash of pronouncing. I have slipped a local altar boy a fiver to find out what the song she claimed she was writing for Bryan in an interview around 1986 J.O'B. ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 18 Dec 2000 10:33:24 EST From: KWil632057@aol.com Subject: Re: [AVALON] New Bryan Ferry album due 2010 LoL that is SO on the pulse!!!!!! ___________________________________________________________________________ The subliminable footer says: To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 18 Dec 2000 15:42:19 -0000 From: "=?iso-8859-1?B?VGjpcuhzZSBPJ0Rvbm5lbGw=?=" Subject: RE: [AVALON] Pipe A Virgin (Off Topic) Are you an usher, pageboy, bridesmaid, priest (needs must) at the low-key nutpials.
