Let me hasten to throw my hat into the ring on behalf of the US / Japan / North American contingent, who would need NTSC copies. I did the NTSC Brussels video copying and distribution after a friend converted it for me from PAL to NTSC. He is always available for another PAL to NTSC video transfer job. I think we all need to see this interview from Russian TV! Ida Maria Yefimova wrote: > > The system is PAL. Hot news on the previously reported SUN Records tribute. Seems like this is going to be a film now. V. exciting. Hope BF will appear. Looks like our man is very elite company, as most of Rock's royalty is now involved. Recording is apparently still under way so still no release date. Good to see the Cool Ruler involved with such a high profile release though... Chris THE KNIGHT SINGS THE KING (October 4, 2000) - Sir Paul McCartney is to record Elvis Presley's "That's All Right, backed by the King of Rock's original band. The former Beatle is among a host of stars who will appear in a film and soundtrack chronicling Sun Records -- the original home of rock. Bob Dylan, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Jeff Beck, Chrissie Hynde, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Van Morrison, Mark Knopfler, Bryan Ferry, The Who and Aerosmith have all agreed, reported Variety. They will perform the music of Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash and other pioneers from the Sun stable. Highlights include McCartney singing "That's All Right," recorded by Elvis in an early Sun Records session in 1954. © 2000 Belfast News Letter. ___________________________________________________________________________ Come to Las Vegas and hear the indestructible tagline sing selections from "The Jazz Singer" ! With the former, my problem would be that it would have be playable on the Apple Macintosh (in Germany you're mostly an absolute outsider with this system, sigh). Anyway: is there any chance to get hold of the A Perfumed Sigh and the Brussels video? I think somebody wrote about that, but who knows where... or when.
