These are harder to get and would'nt probably go into the sale. Rob Edwards would have the details, i'm sure. I had problems with my e-mail, so before the show I couldn't contact people here who were going to Moscow concert in order to meet you in Moscow... So IT HAD HAPPENED! 8))) It was the first time I saw him live (except videos) and what I feel now is absolutely indescribable... I still cannot believe that he had come to Moscow... He was just perfect - I expected that it will be SOMETHING, but it was 100 times more than I expected. The organization of the show was a kind of shock to me. They have made a restaurant in a hall where audience was - tables with food, shampagne and martini. Cost of one place at such table was about $350-400, so can you imagine what kind of people were there! A lot of rich stupid mafia guys, who came to have a dinner and to see each other, and I bet they didn't even have a clue about who Bryan Ferry is... Well, I was thinking that maybe I had to buy such ticket (which is in fact my month salary). There were tickets for $30, which allow you to enter and stand quite far from the scene and the hall with tables from right and left sides along the hall, behind the barriers. So standing there you'd felt somehow out of the show. Oh well, but when everything started I just stopped noticing where I stand, because I was so happy that I had tears in my eyes. But during Avalon song a wonderful thing had happened - we (fans I mean, not many - but there were some! especially foreigners, of course, and also one guy from Ferry's people who kept saying "come on! come here!! dont mind this stupid guards!!!) managed to talk guards into letting us to come right close to the scene! And since that moment the real show had started, when about 100 (or more?)people filled the place in front of the scene, between scene and the first row of tables. We were so happy that WE MADE IT! I have been to many other concerts of other stars, but never I was standing so close - just had my hands of the scene's floor :) Ferry was surprised to see such thing as happy fans applauding, dancing and singing with him - and I hope it was a nice surprise, after performing in front of the people who don't even know his name! So there was a certain contact between us and him, he was smiling all the time, dancing and looking in our eyes, and did three ancors finishing with Viriginia Plain. I just felt an incredible happiness and love, and I couldn't believe when everything was over. I would give everything now to see another such concert and just cannot forgive myself not going to St.Petersburg concert (I had to work during the week and there was almost no chance to cancel it :(( ) Besides, Ferry was celebrating his birthday there, so I believe there must have been a chance to get to that party somehow... Heh ... I love him so much!!!!!! Maria. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. I can relate to the part about the wrong crowd being there. In America we have the same problem. Usually the artist/management hold the first forty rows or so for radio promotions and giveaways and the rest of the true fans end up sitting in the back unless they upgrade at a ridiculous cost to scalpers. Anyways, I digress... Glad you enjoyed yourself's and all went well in Ruskyland.
