I have earlier mailed you about the broadcasting of Bryan's gig at the Norwegian Wood festival in Oslo this summer. They have finished the broadcast now, and I've recorded both part I & II. Total time almost 40 minutes. 10-15 people responded immediately after my last mail where I asked if I should make a CD-tree out of it. Since I also have an excellent audience recording of his show in Oslo in February, I can fill the CD with some of those tunes. Maybe some of those which are not on the Norwegian Wood-recording??? I will of course also make a cover (on photo-paper?expensive but nice). The costs depend on CDr-audio prices, postage/packing (I will not send jewel-cases), cover-paper-quality. I guess each CDr will cost between £ 3&5. Of course on non-profit basis!!! Any thoughts or suggestions ? How have you done this before? NOK 50 is the norwegian note with the lowest value. I have been told by people off list that it's best when people pre-pay the CDs. SO: THOSE OF YOU WHO WANT THE CD SHOULD SEND ME NOK 50,- IN AN ENVELPOE OR I.M.O. PLEASE MAIL ME WHEN YOU HAVE SENT THE MONEY I know it's often difficult to get the NOK 50-notes. If you only can get NOK 100-notes, I can send NOK 50 back to you along with the CD. "Tree" is a common-word used on lists like Avalon (and many more). The true fans on the lists help each other to get rare/unique recordings by their favourite artists. On Avalon that is Ferry/Roxy-related. A while ago it was a "Video-tree" from Ferry's Brüssel concert from Feb 2000. Then a video was copied and distributed among the fans on the list. This time it's a "CD-tree" , which means that I + maybe a person in the US & the UK will make copies of a CD that I've made of Bryan's 2 concerts in Oslo this year.People on the list can order it, this time for NOK 50. It's always important that the CD-trees are non-profit. If one makes money on them it's bootlegging, and that's illegal. This is an idealistic project that I probably will lose money on. I hope this is a good enough explaination.
