Well Alannah, I guess you really should get in touch again, don't you think? Probably you could do Bryan a service! But yes, I guess it'd be a bit weird: "Hi, we haven't heard for quite a long time, but I'm phoning you because I think your unvle should really work with Bryan Ferry." And yet - somehow I think it could be a great collaboration, as uncle Angelo has worked with Marianne Faithfull, Tim Booth from James etc. And I have read that he requests "lyric fragments" to compose the music - so it would be interesting to see how he and Ferry got along ("Well Bryan, y'know, I DO need some lyrics to start with." "Yes, lyrics, true, hm lyrics. Yeah, I really should write some, hm, hm.") Just joking! Incidentally: Hi Judy, my point that Sultanesque refers to Eno was only another (somehow not-so-funny) joke. I hope that Casanova doesn't refer to Brian Eno either. I know one song that IS about Eno - it's by The Jazz Butcher Conspiracy, and it's called... "When Eno Sings". It's wonderful by the way. Mouth is much better!! I second that ! You'll certainly get more Fripp for your money with 'Flowermouth' rather than the trancey 'Mix' versions (although I like the 12 min soundscape of 'Born Simple'). 'Lovesighs' is good too (but no Fripp) while 'Heaven Taste' has ex-Japanners Steve Jansen and Mick Karn on some of it. My only unease about No-Man is that Tim Bowness sounds uncomfortably close to James Wraith at times (he's a better singer though !)
