When Jim called me this evening I asked about the Italian show and sorry to say that it has definitely been canceled. The impression I get is that the decision has been taken to wind up the tour and fill in with some promotional work for the "Slave" album. If I remember I'll check this out when I go over to see Jim on saturday. On saturday i hope to get to hear Bryan's version of "Don't Be Cruel" from the Sun tribute project. As far as I know there are three mixes and the final decision on which one to go with has still to be made. I'll let you know more at the start of the week. Later in the year Jim hopes to hold a mini convention for some of the scottish fans who have been in regular contact with him over the years. If all goes to plan we will certainly have a fine day of music, video and chat. The reason Jim called was to ask me to say how much he enjoyed meeting the avalonians who attended the Tatton and Elton show at the weekend. This goes for me as well. others have given good accounts of the shows so all I will say is that the man is sounding better every time I see him. Chris and Terry it was great to meet at last after having been in touch for so long and I hope to see you both at Castle Howard if not before.
