A dangerous pastime for me at the best of times. So, I've re-arranged all my working arrangements as much as I can, and now it looks like as well as being in the Hague on July 13, and Castle Howard on Aug 18, I can now confirm that I will also be attending the following soirees... Tatton Park, 30 June Elton Hall, 1st July Blickling Hall, 22nd July. Mad as a hatter, I know, but Petworth was just so damn brilliant, that it has to be done. I've also just heard that Chris Turner has just decided to also attend Elton Hall. Great stuff. I can't make Ragley Hall, as i'll be working abroad, but then again I've no right to complain ! For anyone attending the Gigs this Fri and Sat, I hope to see you at the front... I'd also suggest adding "He'll Have to Go" from the Ultimate Collection CD (was it released anywhere else?). Although I know it's not strictly pre B&G, it seems to fit the mood. We Americans are sooo deprived. We will just have to wait until the reunion tour. When that happens, I'll be down front in MY white tux. Uh, one more thing. In your excellent post you stated: Following sustinence and Beer, us 3 outnumbered Brits decided to be smart-asses and head off early, to get a decent vantage point, leaving our European friends trailing in our wake. Correct me, and I know all of you will, but isn't Great Britian considered a part of Europe? You mentioned the the Dutch as European but does that not cover the British Isles as well? Just a simple question from an American who has only been to "Europe" once.
