I've been offered hundreds of dollars for each of my five Doors ticket stubs ... but they sure ain't for sale, ever! I have some really old, trippy ones .. for instance, Cat Stevens at Princeton University, April 1974. I saved the stubs for the 'memory', not thinking anything about future value. Many years ago I arranged dozens of them into an 11x14 frame .. all kinda jumbled and juxtaposed over each other. It's a real conversation piece at home; it never fails to stop guests dead in their tracks to study it. They are awed at how many are there (NOT that many displayed, really!) .. and of course, it's just the tip of my ticket stub iceberg. It's fun to look at the names and places on some of those vintage stubs ... sure are alot of memories and hard earned cash wrapped up in them. > Do or did any of you save your ticket stubs thinking one day > they may be valuable? ___________________________________________________________________________ Come to Las Vegas and hear the indestructible tagline sing selections from "The Jazz Singer" ! Do or did any of you save your ticket stubs thinking one day they may be valuable? Marlana................................ Yes I save all of mine for my scapbook. They may not be valuable to anyone else, but they are priceless to me. I look back a them and recall the meomories of the moment(s). I'm adding the Cure concert ticket from tonight to that long list. I just came in and I'm still buzzing. Just amazing!
