Too right! I've only ever known him as an old bloke trying to get some sort of work on TV, so I'm probably a bit biased. > From: JFROXY@aol.com > > Alright my loves? > OK here is Brucie's review of "Love is the drug" which appeared in Sounds > (NME?) Heh, "It's what the kids want" - he obviously wanted to reach the younger generation for extra TV ratings and thought the NME/Sounds would be a good way of doing so. Live takes of "..Strand", "Street Life", "In every home", "remake-remodel" "all i want.." It's a 2 track CD Single, I've never seen it before - a Promo only thing, which apparently they received from Virgin Germany on 28th Feb, pic cover (usual ATGB artwork, though different lettering) and features 'I'm In The Mood For Love' and 'Love Me Or Leave Me'. Lucky I saw it, (as I don't usually look as we take all our own material) it was at the end of one of the racks in the main studio, and that was the only reason I saw it, the end of a row of about 300 singles - it was the artwork I spotted, obviously. For the collectors amongst you, and I know there's a few, cat.no. is SA 4978, and written on the back cover before the number is : 'Echantillon promotionnel, interdit a la vente'. Basically - 'Promo only - not for sale' as i'm sure you all know. Both versions are the same as on ATGB. Now I'm going to sleep. Goodnight.
