See "Don't Look Back", he really made them look like idiots. But overall he seems to have stayed mostly out of the spotlight and hasn't given very many interviews. For sheer volume of profanities, I doubt anyone could match John Lennon in his prime. Noam ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Kick off your party with Yahoo! All I know is that Bryan performed "where or when" live in " Nulle Part Ailleurs", Canal + the day before the Grand Rex Concert. I have a video of this appearance, the quality is not great, a friend had to record it for me. Anyone who wants a copy, just tell me. I am a real new person to Bryan's and Roxy's world, so besides the "more than this" video I don't own anything and I would be interested in videos of interviews, concerts, can anyone sell me copys???? thanks :) Anne-Isabelle ___________________________________________________________________________ The indestructible tagline farts in your general direction. Squeak squeak, fizz, whirr, clunk, stop. That was the sound of one of my VCRs at 10.20 Sunday night, when it gave up the ghost, in the middle of Out Of The Blue, on 'Cirque Royal' copy no. 71. ("If I were you, I wo"... - CLUNK.) I spent the next half hour unravelling what seemed to be many miles of tape out of the front of it, by hand, as it really liked the Gig so much it clearly didn't want to give the tape back to me. This is, of course, what English Bank Holiday weekends are actually for, as the weather is of course crap in any case. My Thompson VCR (a mere snip (?) at £800 some 3 years ago) had been making various very serious complaining noises since Friday afternoon. Having said that, it did play up back in February too. This VCR is (was) marvellous - great editing facilities et all - it did just about everything except make the damn Tea - in fact it probably did that too, though I never investigated that fully. One of the 'quirks' it gave to me back in February was when all the 'menus' that came up on screen were suddenly in Spanish. I kid you not. I had to take a quick crash course in it just to set the bloody timer. However, a quick flick through the million-page brochure told me how to reset it in reasonably plain English. (Scottish isn't mentioned, sadly, though about 10 other languages are). However, Brussels people, don't panic. At least 50 Avalonians have got 'Cirque' already now, and more were mailed out Friday afternoon, and before tonights disaster another 12 were done, and will go out this coming week anyway - I'm just waiting for the new blank cases, which will come either on Thursday or Friday. So, more will be mailed out on Friday, June 2nd. Still another 19 outstanding though after that, according to my e-mails over the last 3 days, so a possible delay of a few days on the last batch, with this latest development, so bear with me on this one. If, as I fear, it's mainly the 'heads', (definitely just one of the probs due to the high pitched squeaks) then sod it, it'll be cheaper to just go and get another VCR. The motor has definitely gone. Shame, as I stood a good chance of getting every order done by next Friday - not possible now. Will achieve it by the following week though, as my work abroad next week is now just for 3 days, and I'll be back home for at least 5 days before heading for Croissant City yet again on the 10th June. I'll attempt to ensure that all tapes for Avalonians will be posted by then. Apologies, but hey, that's technology. It was on it's way out. So, a slight delay on the last batch. As for Stateside Avalonians, Ida should now have received the 'master', or is just about to, so you've this marvellous gig still to come. I will, for obvious reasons, flick through the 12 completed Vids done for Avalonians before the 'Clunk' to make sure they're OK, on the other machine. If the other VCR, bought just a couple of weeks back, gives out, I'm going to live in a cave in Bolivia. Immediately. I'll take all the re-masters and a walkman with me, of course. Yours, snarling at technology, Reecey... ___________________________________________________________________________ The indestructible tagline farts in your general direction.
