The line up is Bryan, Andy, Phil (obviously), Paul Thompson, Gary Tibbs, Neil Hubbard and Paul Carrack. The songs mimed are Over You, Eight Miles High (Bryan complete with guitar for those two songs), Oh Yeah and Same Old Scene, and during Over You it cuts between cameras using the venitian blind effect. Thrilling isn' it! Dear John: (I've always wanted to begin a letter with that salutation!) Thanks for sharing some of your questions and answers with Lucy Wilkins. I really, really want to hear her play "Out Of The Blue", I can only gather that she does one wicked job of it. Therefore, since she did the transcription herself as well as imposing any artistic leeway BF afforded her, she must be a gifted musician in her own right. Pretty, talented, intelligent, and gracious; Lucy's.., well, Bryan Ferry has always surrounded himself with extraordinary females. The experience that Ms. Wilkins is embarked upon must be incredible. Imagine, classically trained in strings and playing glam-rock compositions. Blow me away, sounds like something this side of Andy Mckay, perhaps wilder. Please, please, didn't anyone get a live record of Ms. Lucy's OOTB!!!! Please, please, please, I'm down on my knees, a copy, my horse for a copy! It's a chain reaction it never stop. I also believe there is at least one more tour for Ferry, and I believe it will be after his next release of original recorded music. Hence in four to five years, at least, as stated in the Financial Times interview. I also take inspiration from BF's quote that he takes his queue from jazz performers still plying their wares well into their 70's. Voice willing and body willing, I expect to see and hear more of Bryan Ferry as long as his spirit desires. I also hope Mr. Ferry continues to follow the hall-mark of great wines, bettering with age. I suspect so.
