Good rates for Avalonians of course, but remember my mark-up on 'newies' is often only £1 or £2 anyway. One advantage though - I sometimes do get stuff way ahead (best example of this was I had the new 'Eels' in January, and it wasn't released in the UK till March). The evidence would suggest that 'Carhumba' is originally from the 'Diamond Head' sessions. On the original vinyl version of the album, two musicians appear in the photo montage who are not actually credited with playing on any tracks. 'Carhumba' finally credits one of them (Danny Heibs) together with Sonny Akpan (who also plays on 'The Flex' and 'Same Time Next Week'). In addition, the (P) & (C) dates are still 1975 on the album credits. QED, unless anyone knows different ? The clincher would be if C. Hanu (on 'Carhumba') is actually a typographical alter ego of Chyke Madu (the other unaccounted-for photo from the original album). Regards, Ivor. n.p.
