All complete with flat caps and scarves, yet strangely non of them plaid and non of them spotty. There's obviously been a lot of ligging on this tour, or more people than we imagined looking at the Web mistress' homage. And I am delighted to report the best Ferry lookalike I have ever seen in my life (circa Boys and Girls), stationed alongside us in the front row. Impassively cool throughout, not a hair out of place - only in Paris (I must be one of the few English Francophiles). But meanwhile back at the concert - Out of the Blue had my little heart (still beating, just) bursting with delight, Casanova again the clap along show stopper and Do the Strand aided and abetted by two new backing singers adding "Eskimos and Geordies!" My trusty camera performed its magic, turning every picture of Bryan into a grinning maniac and every picture of us into chinny geeks. Just got them back Johnny and they're delightful, with Bryan looking relaxed and in great spirits. E-mail me privately with your addresses Johnny, Chris and Luc and I'll send you copies of your individual pictures. I'll also get them scanned and sent to Kicki post haste. Bry played a blinder. He says he's really looking forward to a month off, and has informed us that he's not planning on doing Bed and Breakfast for Petworth, but if he was it would be bloody expensive. I gave the box office a call today and after reliably informing me that she could get me a fourth row seat the lady then turned around and said that they're not yet selling tickets. Later in the week apparently. Btw, some girl in the background went crazy when she heard that Bryan's coming to these shores. ALSO: how are the first three rows filled already if tickets aren't yet on sale? Other news: The track listing for the box set is finalised and will contain "about" 6-8 unreleased tracks. I think he mentioned too that this Swedish release may have two unreleased tracks - makes sense money wise (robbing bastards). The tour is now scheduled to go on until August (next album predicted for 2005 IMHO). The band's rehearsing three more songs for the remainder of the tour. Anybody going to Dublin give me a shout, especially another Irish fan. Surely there must be at least one other lunatic out there somewhere.
