Any takers????? Hey, send it my way. I`ll be more than happy to take a crack at it. Audience recordings too often get a bad rap and that`s really unfortunate. People tend to regard them as inferior and dismiss them without giving them an honest listen and they can be missing out on a version of a song done no other way or in the case of the '75 Boston show, include a song like "A Really Good Time" that was performed for the first time and possibly never again. Personally, I`d rather have a great performance recorded from the audience than a mediocre sound board show. We have an opportunity to get ahold of a wealth of obscure Roxy boots, some from their early tours, from someone in Norway and many of these are audience recordings. I`ve solicited the help of other list members for their help in procuring them but a question of the quality of some of these shows has been raised. I hope the quest for top quality doesn`t over take a possible rare find. It's certainly not quite the way I'd planned things (I wanted to lie low for a while, as I am basically as shy person). But I guess you have to play it the way it's dealt. The whole thing with David and the message has been smoothed over, and everything should be back to normal. It was an honest mistake. I'm very glad to be here discussing Ferry with you guys. I've learned an incredible amount in a week, and I look forward to getting to know everyone better. And no, you weren't mentioned in the email. We think the message got sent back to me, not to anyone else. So I saw it and freaked but nobody else can find it (which is fine with me) Anyway, thanks for the welcome. I'll talk to you again soon.
