Those of us in Seattle, the major hub for Alaska Airlines etc., wouldn' t think that was funny at all. Not to mention a family member of mine works for that Airline and could be on any flight anytime. I find the comment incredibly tasteless, in light of all the families that lost loved one's on that flight. e - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Feb 2000 08:37:56 -0000 From: Terry Lane Subject: [none] I have just subscribed to the mailing list I am surprised to read that Jim Lawn is not the flavour of the month.I have never had any problem with the information service he provides, remember he is a one man band and he is working closer with Bryan more now than he was when he started the BF information service. I never send SAE`s anyway I just ring him and tells me the latest news, and what about the fans without internet and the mailing list access. It is not the best service but it is better than nothing. I shall get off my soapbox now Terry - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Feb 2000 03:40:00 EST From: JObinv01@aol.com Subject: [AVALON] Re: Shame X3 In a message dated 02/02/00 01:47:20 GMT Standard Time, bahi@macnet.co.uk writes: << You say that the Shirley & Co version is the same song. It is a completely different song to the Jimmy Reed song that Bryan released, but you might find in the near future that Bryan has recorded more than one Shame Shame Shame as well as that the Midnight Special recording on Jools Holland Hootenanny is not Bryan's first recording of a Ledbelly song........watch this space......as we MOVE CLOSER to the box set.
