Though I would suggest reading the recap when it's over rather than sitting and watching the screen refresh for an hour and a half. I was most encouraged to read my taste is in favour w/ Bry's, I bought only 2 CD's in the last year (that were new releases) Beck and Macy Gray. I got tix to see Macy Gray, just love her music. If you like old soul, check her out, a real throw back. He didn't answer my question either (Are you Jimmy Vapor?) and yes I find it hard to believe he hasn't heard of the discussion group, but not at all surprised by his answer! Oh god. Actually, that reminds ME of when I went to England with my parents back in 1977. I was 7 so I don't remember much. But one thing that I do remember distinctly was my dad dragging a box of corn tortillas all the way to the U.K. for his friend to try. And y'know, I don't think things have changed too much because when I went to Denmark in '97, and tried to make enchiladas for my husband's family, all I could find was flour tortillas! So I had to make my own corn ones. > > big plans for the weekend? > I'll be watching "Mutiny on the Bounty" unless I get my videotape in the mail. > thanks, you pretty much made my day here ... :^O > Don't spit into the phone! Martin, As you know I was privileged to test sample early APS pressings - thanks. I have waited until now to comment so as not to spoil the impact for others. I must say APS is superb. It makes a statement: "BF has the breadth and depth of talent virtually unmatched in modern music". I never thought I'd see Hotel Buque again. And Partridge.... Congrats Martin - and Jason and all the others who made this Avalonian production possible. You did us proud.
