Bet he doesn't make those cakes at home - just ask Lucy. I hadn't seen the Big Breakfast Interview before - that was cool - and it's seldom you see Bry laugh out loud whilst being questioned... The two Eno tracks included on the '75 Boston show (The Bittersweet bootleg) were terrible quality so I used the tracks from the Eno "Dali`s Car" boot which as far as I can tell is the same recording, only excellent quality. They were from a BBC show broadcasted live from the studio. I also love those tracks. >>Date: Wed, 26 Jan 2000 12:19:02 PST >>From: "mark shanahan" >>Subject: Re: [AVALON] Music Industry Woes >betsy writes: >It is looking more and more as though we will have quite a long wait >for the next BF masterpiece to emerge. Perhaps this would be a good time for Ferry to jump on the MP3 bandwagon now that there seems to be some action from the bryanferry.com site. Nothing would make me happier than for Ferry, as well as *all* artist, to finally tell the greedy-scum recording industry to shove it up their ass and finally have total control of their music. It`s good to be back. I will be working onsite tomorrow and will miss the chat with Mr Ferry. I don't know if there is a technology for this, but is it transcribable? If so, would someone be so kind as to transcribe it for me? Thank you very much, in advance, if it is possible. Give the man my regards.... I believe you have to register with the site, but it is free (and worth it). If you search for a recent article by clicking on "Archives," you will have to pay to see it. However, go to "Site Search," enter some of the title under "Extended Search" (in this case the title is Music Mergers Herald a Shift to the Internet, so search for "music mergers herald") and there's your link to the article.
