I still can't believe I'm writing this, but unfortunately I'm unable to attend (sob...). I made a terrible mistake calculating my flight arrival time from holiday. I thought I was returning on Saturday morning (12 Feb), but in fact it's already Sunday morning (13 Feb) then! I'm still going to see the Duesseldorf concert on 24 Feb, but nevertheless it's a big loss for me. The ticket I'm offering is for one of the best seats in the Westfalenhalle (row 1, seat 5), just left of the centre. So, if anyone's interested, send me a mail privately. But only until next Friday (Jan 28) please, because then I'm off on holiday...for too long! It has an A4 sized picture. You should be able to find it in the art section of a good book shop, or they will be able to order it. The only pictures I have been able to find on the Internet have been very small. Also, I think the bryanferry.com site is excellent. Also the box set is firmly scheduled for an October / November release. There's potential for other things too so it's hard to see anything new this year but, to be positive, having 'cleared the decks' that leaves a hell of a lot of scope for 2001!! Wonderful news!!! One of Bryan's Canadian shows (most likely Vancouver) was recorded and is being broadcast on CBC-FM here in Canada. ANd everyone doesn't have to lose out, as the show it airs on is broadcast over the Net as well. The show is on Saturday, February 26 at about 11:00 PM Eastern Standard Time in Canada. Oasis is also on that night with a session taped in the CBC studios, if anyone is interested. The CBC program is called Radiosonic and you can go bookmark the sight and check out the Real Audio signal in advance, at www.radiosonic.com. Since the program originates out of the CBC Vancouver studios, they often tape local shows. Although they have been known to air Toronto shows. Click on the "Upcoming on Radiosonic" to see what's coming. That's how I found the Bryan Ferry listing. Noam, and everyone else in Canada, get those cassettes, minidiscs, whatever, queued up and ready!!!
