So you were in England for the holidays? Sounds exciting. Most people I know who go there say the record/CD shopping is fabulous, as are the clothes and the people, but if you want good food it had better be Indian or Chinese. And you get to move there permanently! You're going to be a Brit. Maybe someday I'll show up on your doorstep and we can go out. Is she still working as a model or is she a full-time mom now? Any ideas? Great to see extra Gigs in Europe up and coming... I'm beginning to feel like I'm going on Tour myself, as I happen to be working in France on the nights of Feb 5th & 6th, am now staying on to go to the Emiliana Torrini gig in Paris on the 7th (not heard of her ? - she's cool !), Ferry gig in Antwerp on the 8th, now I see there's a Brussels Ferry gig on the 9th ! I really like the way this is working out... Something tells me I have some time off from my 'normal day job' to sort out... Meanwhile, since there's been talk about 'list members Birthdays' in recent times here, I'll throw in my two-pennys worth and admit i'll reach the age of 42 on March 10th. Thing is - I see that Bry plays Paris on March 9th - looks like an extra 'Birthday trip' coming up for me, doesn't it ? Hey - Luc and Han - I presume you'll both be going to Brussels and Paris too ? How about an 'Avalonia' trip for a whole load of us to Paris for the gig on the 9th March too ? How about it, people ? The 'Avalonia Eurostar' sounds like a fine, fine idea. We'll meet by the Seine, where Notre Dame casts a long, lonely shadow... Wasn't there a recent appointment to an American magazine? It was mentioned here or in a newspaper, I forget which. Perhaps in an interview with Bryan. There are lots of articles in the UK press by her brother Edward Helmore, too. Someone here once suggested that Lucy might have been writing or editing under one or more pseudonyms for magazines and newspapers in the UK.
