Damn "premature mouse clicking". I'm seeing a therapist. :) Seriously, it was intended only for those whom I had done the Boston cd(s) for. Although all interested parties are welcome to inquire. Please though, e-mail me off list. Thanks. Bruce Meanwhile back at the regularly scheduled list......... - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 15 Jan 2000 10:36:15 -0500 From: "eRacerX" Subject: [AVALON] Ferry 'collectible' on eBay I am sure you will all be bidding on this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=231805518 Up in Smoke CD is on there too, for those that don't have it yet - H. Sea Breezes (blue/red/blue) and the Bob (red/blue/red) started it off, Dream Home (blue/red) consolidated it, MOP (red/blue) epitomised it, Love me Madly (red/blue) had a great stab at it - and there are loads more. It’s there to see most explicitly on the In Your Mind cover itself: red one side of the mind, blue the other. So simple. Didn't know he was on - some 'channel hopping' was going on - and he was about half a minute into the song when I threw the Vid into Record (ATGB). Had to laugh at the end when the vile Dale Winton pranced up to the stage at the end and looked as if he was going to kiss Bryan - boy did Bry look alarmed. When I realised Bry was going to 'start the lottery' (can you imagine THAT happening in 72 ?) I figured I was on a winner. It was my time. The signs were there. It's my divine right to win those millions, I thought, after all, since Roxy Music chose my Birthday, all those years ago, as the day when they got their first and only No. 1 single. Call it Fate. Call it Destiny. This was my moment. Then I lost. Reecey... PS Actually the only real complaint I've got was that there just wasn't enough close-ups of Julia. - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 16 Jan 2000 08:50:50 +0100 From: "Martin Stockman" Subject: Re: [AVALON] Red and blue - ---------- >From: "the siren" > Don’t you just love the thread of RED/BLUE or passion/melancholy or whatever > juxtaposition through BF’s work? Did the CD format relect this distinction on the sleeve ?
