You're kidding right? BIZARRE!! - -k >>> Glen Lehman 09/01/99 05:11pm >>> Hey Kim - this thought is for you: the weirdest thing I can remember about Bryan is a radio report in Adelaide after he performed his three concerts in 1989 (I think). The next day he was touring around the city, apparently. The radio station reported (sic) all afternoon that he was seen to remove his wig !!!!! Thus Noam's email brought back a recollection and I have been watching the recent videos very carefully ever since.....Anyrate after the first show.....Bryan signed my Champagne and Novacaine boot-leg which was very cool. But I could never hope to top Martin's recollections and reminiscing (how the hell do you spell that word). I printed out the cover on the thermal printer at work and it looks fantastic. I got a tape today of six Ferry tracks recorded at the Pantageous Theatre Hollywood in 1994 (complete with Trower I believe, and the guitar work is certainly superb). The sound quality is from an excellent FM source. I'm not sure how widely available this material is but could it be the basis for ASSH 2? The Danny Baker Show tracks could pad it out a bit and would fit nicely with the tracks here. If the new album has now been moved back to late October I wouldn't expect to see it reviewed / advertised in 'Q' until possibly December's issue (c.31/10/99) since any adverts in November's issue will have very little impact. Basically someone at 'Q' and some other mags. need to move onto the same calendar the rest of us are using.
