Tina's sisters are true "sirens" and Blondie was great. First off, the new Roxy live Cd : Concert Classics. Is it a good quality recording? For some reason, Roxy has been under represented in reissues and newly found recordings(i.e. BBC stuff). Being from a small US city it is nearly impossible to hear or find anything about Roxy related news. I figured that the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack would have spurred a resurgence of Roxymania. I was wrong(not the first time really). If some kind list member would catch me up to date I would be as happy as the Fat Lady From Limburg. Thanks Well, their whole library is slated for release before X-mas, but other than that, there is a fair collection of bootlegs making their rounds and if it all works out nicely, you`ll get the copies you deserve, from doctors we trust. Blondie is one of my heroines (no pun intended). She was from that Richard Hell/Ramones era of New York punk rock that I love so much, and she looked great when Warhol photographed here. She wasn't looking too great in that indie movie "Heavy" that came out a couple of years back, but I'm sure that was partly contrived. Never did get to the Riviera when I was in Chicago. What kind of place is it? Old? > > She still has it and her phrasings have seemed to have gotten better. > No she did not sing ATOMIC nor RIP HER TO SHREADS in the same register > as on the record, but she did hit the high notes for MARIA. But yeah, her songs are great, classics of the new wave era. Thanks for the review!
