I could think of one to start with, "Me And The Major" by Belle and Sebastian: "He remembers all the punks and the hippies too and he remembers Roxy Music in '72" But then, would we want to limit this to bands who mention Roxy Music explicitly, or include bands that make any sort of reference to Roxy Music, such as sampling, or playing a passage, etc? There is a Danish band called TV2 that uses a saxophone passage from "My Little Girl" in one of their songs. It's the passage I was trying to think of the other day. I'm going to find out what song it is tonight and then post the information to the list tomorrow. Ciao!
