I have a shrine to Bryan/Roxy in my home (promo photos, albums, books, posters, t-shirts,etc..) of which only a few pieces are signed. Just curious if anyone has had any luck asking for an autograph from Bryan through the fan club address or elsewhere? Of course, I'm just interested in one personal autograph (it's all I want for mom's day!) - not the entire collection..As of this moment, any word on a new album/tour? Last time I saw him was during Mamouna - I'm going through withdrawl....Merci beaucoupl! I see from Music Boulevard that this is a UK release and is to be on the Magna Carta label - could this be another live set similar to "Concert Classics"?? Since the release date is said to be tomorrow maybe something will appear in UK shops then? Incidentally, someone asked a couple of weeks ago if "Velvet Goldmine" was to be released on DVD, I forgot to answer that yes - it's out now and has additional footage not available on the VHS version. Precisely what this is I don't know since I don't own a DVD player. Pics of Jarvis cocker, Tom Jones etc. Main pic is of Roxy Music from their 'Re-make, Re-model' video session. Not a lot of text but what there is concentrates mostly on this pic and on Roxy Music. I had hoped to find a website for the paper but haven't as yet. I'm sure there must be one. You just reminded me that Jarvis Cocker appeared on television the other day for a few minutes, talking about Scott Walker, who has been the subject of some discussion on this list. It seems that Mr Engel's slightly quirkier solo output has greatly influenced Jarvis, who was admittedly suffering from flu and runnning a temperature when he first decided to play the Scott tracks a friend has given him. An ideal state of mind to be in when getting to know this stuff, I think. But Jarvis seems nothing if not thorough and says he played the tapes again after the slight fever had passed, just to check: they still sounded great. Jarvis made Scott Walker his choice during his slot in the BBC series Music of the Millennium. I wonder if there's any chance that Bryan might appear on an episode? He'd talk about Billie, no doubt. Arnie: forget that Greatest Hits thing. Get Tilt.
