During the In Your Mind tour he had that great hornsection. Martin Drover, Mel Collins and Chris Mercer. Very soulful in my opinion. Listen to them in the live version of A Hard Rain and Party Doll. On this list you never read much about this period. And although Ferry's voice has become better and better I thing the way they recorded him takes away a lot of the power of his voice. For example on Flesh and Blood it sound so smooth and soft. It's to much layers or echo I don't know what they've done but I don't like the result. On the Bride and In Your Mind it is more down to earth. What Goes On, Can't Let Go, When she walks in the room, carrickfergus all good examples of the way I like his voice the most. Han.
