A very strange setup, and if it was the blah blah blah show with the jet black hair then it was indeed Steve Jones on guitar. He was playing a black Gibson ES335. like BB Kings black Lucille. It was the most surrealistic scene I've ever seen: Whoopie Goldberg dressed as a Velvet Goldmine freak (with feathers a la Eno in For Your Pleasure) and the orchestra directed by Bill Conti played ,with all its hollywoodean style , Eno's 'Needles in the Camel's Eye' (the first song of 'Here Come the Warm Jets'). I thought it was a nightmare, Roberto. P.S. Does anybody noticed that Peter Gabriel looks really old ?? he and Randy Newman looked like old bishops. - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 Mar 1999 08:46:31 +0000 From: "Martin Stockman" Subject: Re: [AVALON] Speeding / Manzanera >http://kitchensyncproductions.com/speddman1.html > >Who was playing drums? > >Jim > Isnt that Skinner on keyboards ?
