Looking forward to the follow-ups. Cringeworthy but compelling. The quote reminded me of something. A one woman stage show I heard about a few years ago claimed to have been based on the author's own back-stage, dressing room meetings with Robert Plant, Jagger, Bryan Ferry and others. I think it was by someone quite well known (whose name I've forgotten). Might have been awful, might have been wonderful but either way I meant to go and see it when it played London but never did - can anyone fill in the gaps? Did anyone see it? Wish I had the equipment to copy it for you. You can get the CD on http://www.musicblvd.com I purchased it there about 13 months ago. These 2 are probably the best selling BFRM titles. I think this may be the sign that both of them are being remastered for release. Maybe, the BF boxset is coming along also. Who knows, maybe a new release and possible tour. Possiblities are endless. Only thing that does not sit right is Warner Bros. is very reluctant to remaster anything from catalog titles, epecially for release in US. If you go to MusicBlvd and check for BFRM for those two titles, you will see they're no longer listed. - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 11 Feb 1999 00:39:34 -0800 (PST) From: Pim Rebholz Subject: Re: [AVALON] Ferry B-sides & rarities Dawne, Just checked the site and the 2 bonus tracks were listed as "in every dream home a heartache" and "Bete noire" (spelled as "beite noel"), not the 2 you mention. Are there CDs with different bonus tracks? - ---dawndalion wrote: > > Martini and Victor, > > I have both those songs on my Mamouna Japanese import, namely, "She's > leaving Home," and "As the World Turns," and I gotta say that the cover > of that Beatles tune is my favorite cover effort of Mr. Ferry.
