This may have been from a later session. I have the "Jealous Guy" 12" single w/ To Turn You On on the b-side. I never much listened to it, but tonight I played them back to back with the Avalon version twice - It is certainly not the same version. The Avalon version has that mix of perfection found throughout the entire Avalon album by Bob Clearmountain, the best mixdown engineer of that time. While on the album version, the guitar and bass are prominent, the Jealous Guy b-side version is very different with the drums, piano keys and cello much louder. It almost sounds live. You're right, it sounds like it was just thrown together. Very rough. On Avalon is glistens. I love both versions. Hi! I really wanted to do that survey that was out but it covered so much it felt like homework but I've been a Bryan fan for a long time and he's one of my longest phases and I'll most likely always like him and his music. I presently work for an association and plan to leave it around April when the place moves to another building and after that I want to get into temp work. I just can't deal with another corporation or office work right away. I'm really trying to get into behind the scenes film work if I can and start off in Chicago and work my way eventually to LA at least thats the plan. I am eagerly anticipating Bryan's next visit here and plan to see him in a couple of cities if financially possible. I don't go to many concerts but i have recently enjoyed both Chris Isaak and Warren Zevon. I also love to collect pin-ups and amateur art and I love toys. I guess I'm trying to regress and start over. I also own a Brittany Spaniel named Jimmy and a Rat Terrier Lizzie hence my e name. And I'm sorry I don't feel sorry for Jerry Hall. She had Mr. Wonderful and she blew it! So even if she had to wear demure little greys suits and do needlepoint (read Tall Tales) at least she would have still been married.
