Jerry is still a goddess to some of us. But how would you have known, your arrival on Avalon would come on the same weekend as the Out-of-Nowhere, Super-Surprise, Biggie Sized, Jimmy Vapor, Double-Contest Double Whopper weekend? Not your fault, please stick around and talk music. Does anyone else remember when Sutherland and Jane Fonda trooped around (pun intended) as Fuck The Army (sometimes Free The Army) trying to foster dissent and discontent in the U.S. Armed Forces during the Vietnam War. They were SO anti-capitalist. And now he does voiceovers for huge life insurance companies!!! I guess he has his checks mailed 'cause he's laughing to hard to make it to the bank. I too am (obviously) spending a lot of time thinking about this. Not because I like scandals (I could care less about Monica Lew-whatever), but just because it all seems like the makings of a novel, Bryan and Mick both practically fighting over this mere American, Bryan finally getting over her, but writing a hell of a lot of wonderful lovelorn music at the very time he loses her, then fizzling out soon after. I have always wondered if Jerry was his true muse, and his all time love. If so, that would be so romantic, but as Dawne says, so hard for all the children caught in the middle of this. Will these rock stars and media goddesses continue to follow their hearts and their libidos in this matter, or will they maintain the status quo and play out their mature, responsible lives, prioritizing their children. Will Bryan be re-inspired to create more music by this course of events? Will I ever find a job? None of these questions are certain, but one thing is - I will never make as much money as a web programmer as Jerry Hall will from her ex-husband. >> I find it interesting that nothing fires up this list like turning the conversation to the subject of Jerry Hall. Of course, it's Bryan's fault for not regularly supplying new music for us to enjoy and discuss. But nothing brings on the traffic like The Prairie Rose.
