I am sure I can add a few more apprearances to the list of videos. I have to check my overview list (which is at work), but I can name a few I have on tape: . Bryan live on "De 5 uur show" . Bryan live on a benifit program for Greenpeace (dutch tv) ... and I'm sure more, but I can better contact Han Snijders directly about these. Is that ok with you Han? What I am missing and seeking desperately for years: . Roxy Music - Do The Strand (/w Eno feathered) in TopPop (AVRO, NL). After the performance in the show, the band was given the Edison award. I have pictures of that. They looked at the show host as if he was coming from Mars and said absolutely nothing! . Roxy Music live at "Een van de Acht" show VARA, television (Bryan in a leather-look, white suit which was a bit too tight) . Roxy Music - Love Is The Drug in "De Van Speijck Show, Dan Liever De Lucht In", VARA NL . ITV special on Taxi . and do not forget the commercials he did on UK television for kid shoes (see site) Once more, I whish to note that the "Beat Club" performance was legally released on CD in 1995!! Due to avoiding upcoming copyright problems the CD was deleted last year. The CD set was called "Psalm" ;-) It came as a 2 CD-set: one audio cd (A Hard Rain's..., If It Takes All Night, Out Of The Blue, Psalm, Street Life and Virginia Plain) and a video cd with an (excellent) MPEG video of all tracks). Half a year ago I found a shop selling them from stock and I bought a few for friends, but now they seemed to be getting rare (out of stock too!). It was released on MasterTone, MM5120 (Germany). Parallel to this message I made a temporary site, showing a picture from the kid-shoes ad and the cover scans of Psalm. Take a look at it on: http://home.wxs.nl/~gj.hillebrand/ferry.html Greetings, Gerrit. ____________________Peace Through Culture____________________ visit: Trophies - The David Sylvian Rarities Archive http://www.trophies.org _____________________________________________________________ - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Dec 1998 19:45:46 -0500 From: "tfagan" Subject: Re: [AVALON] leadbelly city so wudja think of his otis cover "That's How Strong My Love Is?" - --TriTri - ->>Well, it sounds like a good idea but one of Bryan's admitted >>influences was Otis Redding and after the butchery of Wilson >>Pickett's "Midnight Hour,"I have no desire to hear Bryan cover, say, >>"I've Been Loving You Too Long." > >>Arnie >> - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Dec 1998 20:18:44 -0800 From: Rex Estorffe Subject: Re: [AVALON] FYI: Autographed Roxy Album -Reply -Reply Kimberly Shell wrote: > > Gene - I agree - UNCOOL!
