I'm not tired of The Original Roxy Records (the first five and Viva!), but I don't care much for the rest of the albums. There might be a good song or two on each of them, but the REAL Roxy, the VINTAGE Roxy, is the group on those first five records. I like These Foolish Things&Let's Stick Together, but the rest of Ferry's solowork hasn't meant much to me. Your idea is a good one, not to mention the obvious one ("doh, Heather, just listen to other music"), yet sometimes I just fantasize about being able to listen to Roxy Music and nothing else for the the rest of my life. It would be so wonderful if I could do that without getting sick of them. Then I would be a true, pure Roxy Music fan. But then of course, reality enters in - I would get very sick of them and I would never want to hear them again after about 6 months time. So of course I'll do as you do, Dawne, and just listen to other music from time to time, to fill in the spaces when I can't stand to listen to Roxy Music. Ciao!
