Subject: [AVALON] UNCUT Magazine

There's a great British import magazine out called UNCUT and it features a big
story and article on Glam rock has 2 pics of Bryan and Roxy and Bryan that you
have all seen before but it tells a lot about the movie Velvet Goldmine and
gives a who's who about the leading characters who are based on real life
ones:

The most important of course is:

Jack Fairy: Playing the John the Baptist role to Slade's leper messiah of
glam, Fairy is a hybrid of pioneering Roxy Music Founders B. Ferry and Eno,
both of whom have songs covered on the soundtrack from the movie. In the movie
Fairy leaves Glam behind to make experimental albums in Berlin with Iggy/Wild
played by Ewan MacGregor. In reality Eno collaborated there with Bowie.

They don't say who plays Fairy/Ferry Eno but Ewan MacGregor looks eerily like
Kurt Cobain. Can't wait for this movie fellow Avalonians. Hopefully it will
resurge Bryan's career and he'll get a good record contract out of it.

I don't often feel motivated to post, but this time I must.  I anyone could
match Roxy, it was Cheap Trick (throught Dream Police, at least.)  At least,
that's what I think!
