I'm going on the WXRT line right now to let her know if she doesn't. I will too. She will be thrilled. For those Avalonians who aren't familiar with Chicago, WXRT has been the ONLY station here to promote and play Roxy/Bryan/Eno/Phil/Andy/801, etc. . It was here that I first heard them back in 1973 and was hooked. Terri Hemmert, in addition to be one of the best DJ's in the city is a BIG Roxy Fan ( even naming one of her cars after Roxy) and an even bigger BEATLES FAN. I have met here on several occassions and she is soo cool. She always plays my special requests for Roxy/Bryan or Beatles selections. Did you go to both of the Arie Crown concerts as well. I really miss the guy! I was there the first night. I can kick myself for not returning the next night. I saved the review from that concert and both reviewers ( the Trib and the Sun-times)gave it a rave- which it was. And i remember one of my favorite concerts of is years ago at the Uptown Theatre for the In Your Mind album. Great Memory for me! I was in Califoria ( just two years) at the time this came out so I missed that show. However, I WAS at the Uptown during the Manifesto tour and I had a run in with our Bryan in the limo after the show ( I have mentioned this close "encounter" before on this list-the old timers might remember it). I will NEVER forget that moment ( and if I ever meet him again, I will bring it up) Obviously Virgin is like Chicago sports team owners..... Oblivous to what fans really like! Oh so true. Notice how they have treated Micheal, Scotty, and Phil. Hope they don't do it to Sammy (Sosa).
