I must have been > thinking of Dr. Smith, Will. Are you sure you aren't thinking of Will Smith. I was thinking of the scene in Austin Powers where Dr. Evil is in counseling with his son and the therapist say's what about you Mr. Evil and he says "I didn't spend 7 years in evil medical school to be called Mr. thank you" but it looses alot without the Dr. Evil accent. I wasn't jumping on anyone, just feeling rambunctious(get that jimmy). Hadn't read my email since fri. had about 49 messages...replied to about half of them as you can see. Although I haven't been flamed as recently as i would like but I'm getting along. Let me flame Colleen for a moment, do you believe she thought Bryan looked like William Shatner. Picture him in a spock wig, oh that's good. That's such a funny thought that I must humbly retract my previous flaming. Will No, I was thinking of Dr. Smith from "Lost and Space" Get it Will? (Will! Will! You can flame me anytime). But yes Dr. Evil is certainly a favorite of mine. (I've been frozen for 30 years, throw me a bone) I have a 1979 Roxy live video I believe is called "On The Road", Bryan looks like a Vulcan no doubt. And didn't Bryan name his son after Otis Day, from Otis Day and the Nights? ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 2 Jun 1998 14:48:08 +0100 (BST) From: "Kl'aa-du" Subject: Re: [AVALON] The 42nd Annual Roxy/Ferry Trivia Stump-O-Rama, With , Your Host, James Vapor On Tue, 2 Jun 1998, Bahi Para wrote: > >33) Name two Roxy/Ferry music videos the Fabulous Jerry Hall graced with her > >appearance? > > Not mentioned so far: You Go to My Head. Where did you read this? UK rags and books used to claim 1945. All this talk about Dr Spock. Vinyl fans who have Taxi on LP should check out the driver's ear, which isn't as clear on the CD booklet. There's something very Ferry (In Your Mind) about it. And the parts of his face which the light reveals correspond to the hidden parts of Ferry's own. (Sort of.) Ferry's cover art - especially on Bete Noire and Mamouna - deserves a separate discussion. Please be aware that awards shall be handed out shortly, so get those entries in. As both Dawndalian and Heather Marie Propes have flown to England to audition for the vacating Ginger Spice, we at PAPTI request that you wear something gaudy and loud for the live video hook-up. Jimmy Vapor, Hey babe, Heather may be off to the United Kingdom... but it is not to audition for the Spice Girls... those amateurs could not handle our brand of Sizzle.... No, another trip to England would probably include an attempt on my part to seduce a middle-aged, married, father of four to take me up on my "ferry tale." And we all know who THAT is.... So, I hope I did not disappoint you, Jimmy. All that writing (move your fingers closer to the keyboard, was it??) was for you....okay, I liked 'doing it," too. dawndalian ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 2 Jun 1998 19:35:56 -0500 (CDT) From: Heather Marie Propes Subject: Re: [AVALON] Re: The 4th Annual Suffered Imperfection, Studied Marble Flaws, Etc. Jas are you sure they call Chi "newt town" I hadn't heard that one Will Will: "Chi-town" is still Chicago. I was making a reference to a part of the Northside of Chicago where I live. It is called Newtown, which is actually an extension of Lincoln Park. It is densely populated because it is an area with a lot fo resturants, shops, bars, and is just a great location. Since Heather is in Chicago ( and by the way lives(?) in Hyde Park (you will correct me of course won't you Heather, Heather? "Hello"!!!!)I made that reference. She would know, or anyone who has spent time in Chi-town would know. And what does this all mean to Avalonia? Nothing but fans do exist in this part tof the Midwest. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 03 Jun 1998 00:59:02 -0500 From: jas2347@xsite.net Subject: [AVALON] Much more than this?
