Welcome back dearest and Most Amusing Vapor! What a tasty way to wake up this am....to the melodious words of The Bogus Man dancing across my laptop (hmmmm, could there be a double meaning there, babe?) Only Vapor and I know for sure..... Your return to Avalon has inspired me to return to the fantasy composition... My life has been so very busy, I have not been able to dedicate the time needed to (de)compose here. More later, gang.... dawndalian ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 29 May 1998 10:08:38 -0500 From: "Sara Kerr" Subject: Re: [AVALON] So, Who Wants A Copy? Welcome back Jimmy! I'm sure you know how much we've missed you since you've been gone! Why the hell am I writing this? Wasn't it just six months ago that I couldn't stand you? And now I miss you. Fuck it! Life is so uncanny. Well I thought Dawne's story was lovely. It certainly has promise, and I think she will finish it. I have an idea on how to assess them. Instead of coming up with first, second, and third prizes, which are so arbitrary, why don't you make up categories such as "best characterization," "best suspense," "best sex scene," "most likely to make you want to curl up with a vibrator," etc. That way, no one would feel like they had been directly compared with their peers, etc. I think it would be a lot more positive. Anyway, it was just a thought. Where are the other entries?
