All I meant to say was, speaking of Bowie covering "If there was something", has it been mentioned recently (whatever that is) that Bowie was performing the song for awhile, but he couldn't figure out all the lyrics. So put in some of his own. He eventually wrote BF for them, who sent the right ones along. However, Bowie kept one of his own. After the line "I would do anything for you" BF's lyric was "I would climb mountains" but Bowie changed it to "I would come all day." Normally blasphemous to "improve" upon Bryan, but I think this one was a winner. Also, I figured out the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything! - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 19 Jan 1998 00:36:28 -0500 (EST) From: JVapor7@aol.com Subject: [AVALON] The Genius of David Bowie John Forhrman wrote the following (please don't blame me): Whoops!
