Also forgive me if you have done this before I subscribed It's okay Janeen we did do this over a year ago but for the benefit for those who are new, let's do it again. I agree with Bogus Man, Spin Me Around never did anything for me even from Manifesto. I would like to hear End of the Line, Amazona, and Sentimental Fool. Oh yeah(no not that one), it would be interesting to hear Prarie Rose now in concert. I wonder if he would dedicate it to Jerry Hall, even though he did not write it for her at the time**, if we would get just a little bit misty and remember what could have been. As for Bryan's version of 21st Century Schzoid Man, I too am waiting on Fripp to release it. I remember reading in a guitar magazine a couple of years ago, wherre Fripp was recalling the early days of King Crimson and mentioning Bryan's audition of that song. He (Fripp) thought it was a hoot. If that's so, then let the Avalonians be the judge of that. If I make it to the Fripp show here in Chicago, and there is a q & a session, I will bring this up. I am going to Washington D.C. at the end of the week on business and will bring along my copy of the Heavenly Music Corp to listen to while travelling thru the clouds. Is there a Heaven.....I'd like to think so. Jas ***We had a rather long discussion on when Bryan wrote this and who it was for. We concluded, and with some proof, that it as not written for Jerri Hall because Country Life was recorded and released before she and Bryan met. In fact if you read TALL TALES, which was excerpted here, she outlines when she met Bryan which was for the cover of Siren. We do know of course that the Bride Stripped Bare was about her. By the way, did everyone hear that she had the baby in December? - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 11 Jan 1998 12:59:04 +0000 From: Gregory A Koetting Subject: Re: [AVALON] Roxy/Bryan Dreal Concert Songs I would definitely love to hear "Spin Me Round," as well as "Mother of Pearl," and "Just Another High." greggie HUGH O'DONNELL wrote: > LizzieJim wrote: > > > If you went to a Bryan/Roxy concert what songs would you like to hear > > him sing > > beside the obvious like Love is the Drug, In Every Dream Home a > > Heartache, > > Slave to Love yada yada yada) One of mine would be Spin Me Round and > > Bogus > > Man. I know that it can be risky to purchase things via email contacts, but in this case, the person is legitimate and trustworthy. Also, if you are still interested in the posters but have deleted the address of the person who was selling them, please email me, and I will forward the email address to you. Cheers!
