Who actually wrote this record?...coz it's got "Shakespeare/Kamen" on the sleeve...I didn't follow the earlier chat about the single so well but do the lyrics come from some Shakespeare literature that, as it would seem, Patrick Kamen (he worked with Bryan on "Bete Noire" didn't he and he has some connection with Madonna as well)...was it all written (I mean apart from the lyrics if Shakespeare did write them!) especially for this recording 2. Please forgive me for saying this but on listening to it for the first time BF's voice doesn't exactly sound so smooth as it usually does???!!! Hmm, I dunno...fittingly emotional but not up to his usual standards???...maybe I need to listen to it a bit more 3. And how does Shakin Stevens come into the story? Is HE still going by the way???!!! By the wayz anyone got any info about his "imminent" new album...or is it another seven year itch like the last time???!!! And finally I thought it might be a nice gesture for the subscribers to this "fan club" to send a message of condolence to Lucy Ferry on the death of her father...if anyone wants to send a message via me I will compile them and send them on to their home address which I have on behalf of us Byee Michael >> Hi Michael and hello all. In answer to your 1st question, the name's a bit mixed up. You are thinking of Patrick Leonard who worked with Bryan, as well as Madonna, Roger Waters, Pink Floyd, many, many artists including his own bands Toy Matinee (which then became 3rd Matinee w/ Richard Page-ex-Mr.Mister on vocals-a great record!) Michael Kamen is pretty well known for his work with orchestras for bands like Pink Floyd, etc. Hope this was helpful. Cheers!!
