So I ask, is this a similar shrewd move on BF's part (assuming of course that his album comes out before the turn of the millennium)? As long as the project benefits charities, who's to complain? I vaguely recall some tenuous Ferry-Diana connection. A few years ago Ferry appeared on theTonight show to plug Taxi & in a brief post-song interview w/ Jay Leno Ferry indicated that he had sold a house to Di (???). My memory fails but anyway it appears they were acquainted. - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Nov 1997 21:46:49 +0100 From: Bahi Para Subject: RE: [AVALON] FWD: Ferry on Diana tribute >On another list I inhabit (along with at least 2 of y'all), talk has >turned to the inclusion of the [now disbanded] band's lead singer Uncharacteristically coy, Colleen. What could you be trying to hide? >it could be a shrewd marketing move since he will >have a solo album out sometime next year. So I ask, is this a similar >shrewd move on BF's part Yes. Will it be sung in Ladytron falsetto, with "Roses by the scoooore" warble and "shoot you with his gun" menace, finishing with explosive Re-Make/Re-Model Eno twiddles? I hope so. - -------------------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V2 #42 *************************** ======================================================================== Please send any questions or comments about the list to avalon-digest-owner@smoe.org
