I find his uptempo rocky covers work much better than the ballards. Amazing Grace is his worst cover ever! Recently the video to Girl of my best friend was on MTV and it did absolutely nothing for me. In contrast, with Bette Noire and Mamouna there are several tracks I keep playing. Day for Night is a knockout. I wonder if its anything to do with Truffauts film. I read an interview with BF on the home page in which he said he prefers European film to Hollywood. An intelligent guy is our BF...
