Hope it lasts. Anyway, someone posted an article from Billboard there: http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003798027 Navarro, Sorum And Cantrell Lead Roxy Rock Jam Alice In Chains' Jerry Cantrell was among the rockers to jam at the Roxy May 02, 2008, 1:30 PM ET Wes Orshoski, L.A. A cast of rock heavyweights crammed the Roxy stage in Hollywood Thursday night (May 1) for a jam session that found the likes of Jane's Addiction's Dave Navarro, Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath and Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver, Guns N' Roses) on stage with the likes of Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead, Steve Jones and Paul Cook of the Sex Pistols and Alice In Chains' Jerry Cantrell. All came together for the first of five Thursday-night gigs in May featuring Navarro and Sorum's occasional side project, Camp Freddy, which also features guitarist/vocalist Billy Morrison, bassist Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction, Alanis Morissette) and singers McGrath and Donovan Leitch, son of folk singer Donovan. [...] Guitarist Cantrell, a last-minute addition, took the stage for "Jailbreak," and singer-songwriter Poe led the band through Led Zeppelin's "Good Times Bad Times." [etc.] Glad to hear she's out and about. The only other post with a news tidbit is a quote from a MySpace message from Trigger, saying Steven Perkins from Jane's Addiction has contributed to what she's working on. But the MySpace apparently hasn't been logged into since March 1, wonder what's up... I got nothing else for now...basically just been hoping the Repo! movie doesn't end up going direct to DVD. Hope all is well with everyone. - --Michele ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V12 #75 ***********************************
