All I know is if it's not soon it's about time she get a new name or release under her real name. I mean isn't it better to be performing than not performing? Poe is talented enough that she does not need to rely on re-releasing old material. Where there might be legal limitations on her previous material & even her artist Name POE. Can they really keep her from releasing any music? I know the music industry is powerfull, but that had to be one really naive poe if she signed a contract so terrible that they have control of her being able to ever create and perform music till some contract ends or they release her. Why would a record company hold her anyways? why wouldn't they just say ok were keeping what we got, but you can move on with new material. Other artists move on to other record companies why can't she? What incentive do they get by keeping a stranglehold? I don't know maybe she had some 5 album contract and they want more.. I don't know there are lot of whats, whys & huh's, bottom line is I think it's time to shit or get off the pot :P Don't go angry psycho on me I love Poe just as much as the next psycho, but really now isn't 7 years enough? I don't think Job had too suffer this long, althogh he did suffer worse, but I don't think it was this long heh. Well thats my rant.. peace out LL~ Joel Schwartz wrote: Does anyone know when our Poe is finally released from the contractual agreement that is stealing her from us? I hate to say it, but I agree ... although she HAS been releasing stuff - just not on her own. I'm just thinking its about time she released another CD that was all hers ... You are talking about record companies that sign bands just so they don't compete with the artists they are trying to promote. I have seen people signed just so they have nothing released in 5 years, so said record companies can promote their focus in that genre. It is a sick business that isn't about art. And the artists lose every way you slice it. On 7/10/07, J L wrote: > > > I hate to say it, but I agree ... although she HAS > been releasing stuff - just not on her own.
