I probably should have done this a long time ago! Sorry! a. Now that you are an Angry Psycho, we would love to know: (1) Who you are? I'm Cera (2) Where you're from? Connecticut (3) How old you are? 25. Will be 26 at the end of the month. I was probably 18 when I signed up for the Angry Psychos. (4) Where you first heard Poe? in college. accidentally downloaded it off of Napster one day and loved it! It was Angry Johnny. (5) What other musicians do you listen to? the cure, new found glory, the get up kids, the beatles, vanessa carlton, say anything, elliot smith, reggie and the full effect, al green (6) Any other interesting information you wish to share. when i was a freshmen in college, i had a radio show called Kevin Smith's Love Child. And I spent the summer at school one summer running the station. I made it a point to play Angry Johnny at the end of every my show that summer. heh. That's it! :-) Oh! And I think I like Hello better than Haunted. It reminds me of that summer actually which is probably why I love it so much. I remember that there were 2 versions of Hello. I had to go searching on Napster for that one. c _________________________________________________________________ Make every IM count. Download Messenger and join the im Initiative now. I, too, fell in love with Poe the moment I heard Angry Johnny on the radio, back in the mid-90s. I drove directly to the store, asked who it was, and I have been a huge fan ever since. I push her music on everyone, LoL. And I still listen to her stuff almost every day, 10 or so years later. It's amazing how I'll "find" songs all over again, depending on what is going on in my life at various times. She is always relevant to my situations. My friends all tease me because I get all emo about her, haha. WHEN she has a new album and/or goes on tour, I'll cry out of sheer happiness, LoL. I don't even think I could pick a favorite song of hers anymore. They have all developed a huge meaning, and they are all great songs. And a lot of my musician friends comment on her in a very positive way, especially her lyrics. I know we all miss her quite a bit. And it has been super quiet lately...some news would be quite fantastic...! -Crickit ________________________________________________________________________ AOL now offers free email to everyone. I had the album in no time and played it to death in my car 'till some drunk frat boy stole all my tapes. I replaced it with a CD. I also found out about 2 days after I got the tape that she had played Bogart's in Cincinnati only the previous week! I was bummed. It wasn't until "Haunted" came out that she returned. I got to meet her that time though. Best driving song is Another World off "Hello". I could be on the worst downer and driving my car and that would come on and change everything. Too many great songs in various versions to ever pick a favorite single one or album. She told me when I met her at Bogart's that she had 42 songs *in the can* and she was just waiting for all the crapola with Atlantic to settle so she could release more albums. I guess they still have all that material tied up with legal red tape. *sigh* ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Jun 2007 14:53:20 +0000 From: "Brian Edwards" Subject: Re: in lieu of any news...
