While certainly disconcerting not knowing what is going on with Poe, I just hope that she is well and gets through her entanglements safely. I wonder what she has been doing to fill the time these last 5 years (other than fighting legal battles and jogging). As far as Liz Phair and her absence, I can only say that musically I do not like the direction she took with her self titled album but am going to buy her upcoming album just out of hope that I will like it better if I think of it as a pop album. While I may not personally like her new direction, I can understand it from a personal sense as well as a business sense. I am sure that she is in a different, hopefully happy and stable, place in her life now so her music will change. And if it were my career I would rather sell 10 million albums to people who like my music because they heard a track played on a Clear Channel station in heavy rotation than 500,000 copies to fans who LOVE my music after hearing it on their local college station. But then again, I am a coporate sellout who works just to afford to do what I love. If I could work doing what I loved, I may feel differently... Anybody know of a job that pays $90k for eating, drinking, and riding motorcycles? Maybe a Harley sales rep... ;) Later, RevMike >From: Dan98908@aol.com >To: angrypsychoryan@hotmail.com, angry-psychos@smoe.org >Subject: Re: POE MUSIC Share your thoughts!! >Date: Thu, 1 Sep 2005 16:28:54 EDT > > >In a message dated 9/1/2005 12:37:00 P.M.
