I know when the first Conjure One album came out it was selling around here for like $18 and I was broke and so sad. Months and months later I was lucky enough to find it at a used book store for only $3! ..... but anyways I was just gonna say that this is why the new Conjure One should be on iTunes!! I'm sure lots of people would much rather pay .99 cents per Poe song :) Hopefully iTunes will add it soon. _________________________________________________________________ FREE pop-up blocking with the new MSN Toolbar get it now! http://toolbar.msn.click-url.com/go/onm00200415ave/direct/01/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 04 Sep 2005 10:06:40 -0400 From: Shanna Hollich Subject: Re: Subject: In Search Of... I thought someone mentioned this but maybe not? You can download the songs individually, for 99 cents each, from http://www.nettwerk.com (there should be a link somewhere to Conjure One and the new album; that's how I found it). I just did that yesterday, it took all of maybe five minutes, and now I have three awesome Poe songs for a little less than $3, which isn't bad at all. And they're .mp3s, not some other crazy format. - -Shanna gini x wrote: > > $16 really is a little much for a CD that you probably only want for > the Poe songs. As many of you know I have been a paramedic for almost 30 years and I am semi retired, do mostly training now and some volunteer stuff. I have been asked if I would go back and do some CISD ( basically counseling for the rescue workers and families who have been thru extraordinary and overwhelming events --- this sure qualifies.) I have been on so many disasters, I have placed myself into a hostage situation to care for a guy having a heart attack during a bank robbery going bad, plane wrecks, all types of fires and I have done my best without a LOT of worry about myself. I have a REALLY bad feeling this time, I have always looked forward to helping wherever I could. Be it OKC or Ground Zero workers but this time I am scared and I am not sure I can identify why. Be that as it may I am needed and I have something to offer to help so I said I would go. I am taking my laptop in case I am in a place I can communicate. This thing is so widespread I have no idea where I am going or when I will be back or what to expect to find when I get there! Maybe THAT is part of why I am apprehensive, that is a LOT of unknowns, but nothing like the unknowns facing those I hope to help. See you when I get back. ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V10 #97 ***********************************
