As the Orthodox Easter draws near, I find myself joining my fiance in observing at least PART of the whole "fasting" thing for the next 6 weeks ... which means no animal products. Period. No milk, no cheese, no egg, no meat, no nothing. Fruits and veggies, legumes, grains, etc are allowed - but nothing that came from an animal. (Just don't ask us to follow the ENTIRE fast - I'm not going to give up the food, cigarettes, alcohol, and sex all at the same time.) I know how to do a number of different vegan dishes already, but 6 weeks of them would have a lot of repeats and the recipies will probably get pretty old ... but I'm betting that SOMEONE on the list is a vegetarian, and might be willing to share a recipe or three.
