I was whining because it sounded like an exciting event to me and I wanted to know what was going on about it. I sent one e-mail, its not like I send one a day asking for updates so one little e-mail on a presently quiet mailing list shouldn't have wasted too much of your day. Just delete it. And if people are doing their damndest to get it around why don't you share how you know this? That is all I was asking for...where is it? whats going on? I found out what I needed. What the fuck is wrong with asking that? So 1. quit fucking whining about people whining about the poe ball because it really was just an email from me. 1 little email that obviously got on your nerves soo bad that you had to respond so rudely. maybe you should just block my email address from your inbox if it is going to bother you so much. 2. i got plenty of emails from other people who wondered what was going on, and other people who actually shared the information with you--thank you to those people. I know i am not the only one who was wondering what was going on. I KNOW that the poe ball has lots of places to go and I said I would have no problem going somewhere to see it, I said I felt MISLED because in the beginning they made it seem like a fan tour, and it not, its really a big public tour, so I would expect more updates and organization to be done. So me being a poe fan, wanting to see the ball I don't have the fucking right to ask the list what is going on and wonder why we don't know whats going on? Thats what the list is for. I'm sorry that I have a job and other priorities, so I would love to mark a big POEBALL spot on my calendar as much ahead of time as possible so I can do my best to be there. So, thanks for your fucking opinion but it was really rude and negative, some people would love to see it and are a little more anxious for information then you so get over it. I think thats funny regardless of the point of the emails. My response may have used the F word a few too many times BUT I don't think your response was mature either, to me, it was rather arrogant and just snarky. It wasn't a sentence like "hey everyone quit whining about the poeball" it was a nice numbered list, the point of which was to make me look stupid, like a REAL poe fan wouldn't question where the ball is or why we haven't heard anything. What is wrong with thinking that you might actually get the poeball? In the beginning I did, until I realized it was something much bigger than just AP's and then I got excited about going to an event, where it would be, and I could meet other AP's at the same time. I never expected it to go to every city in the whole world, but I know there is a chance it will be in Chicago or Milwaukee, which are both close enough for me to attend so I naturally....wondered if anything was planned yet. So...as "maturely" as you tried to say it, it was just an e-mail directed at me ....which I found odd in the first place since I sent it out a week ago and already had many AP's e-mail me and give me all the info they know...which is exactly what i wanted.... but my one email was so annoying that it just sat there and festered in your brain for a week? Unless you just checked all your mail at once? And since I'm the only one who really "whined" about it I don't think it warrants an e-mail from you telling me to grow up....One e-mail makes ME immature? but...YOU ... being so mature felt that you should send an email to the list for the sole purpose of telling me that i'm whiny and I should put my boobs back in my bra? My e-mail had a purpose, and a poe related subject , yours was just a snide e-mail that probably made you feel bigger and cooler for a bit after you sent it. Thanks again to the people who shared what information they had with me, I'm sure other people on the list appreciated hearing more about it too. It was an amendment that changed that. The constitution has been amended 27 times with the first amendment taking place back in 1789. If the constitution were to be in its original form, it could be perfectly constitutional for a state to forbid married couples from using contraception. Congress amended the constitution in 1992 to effectively give themselves pay raises. If youre for gay marriage more power to ya, please write your congressman, but before you start spouting off how you are offended by how stupid our educated people are? you may want to educate yourself first. This country has changed and progressed so differently from when the constitution was put in place. Im pretty sure people have a more open mindedness about more issues than you can think of than the mindset of 1776. My point is, the best way to make your point, is to do a little research and get your facts straight first before you present them to some one who is educated. If you are going to fight for this right, then do all you can to make yourself credible. Thats all. As an educated person who has not been keeping up with this debate on the list, let me spew my chunk of ignorence no one else wants to hear, and probably should not be talking about.. religion and politics.. and all that. The thing is that when we break down all the facts of the arguement, the consititution, the bullshit opinions, the religious desire to force ones morals on others as well as the basic FEAR of that which is different... there is only one answer, and its' sad that all our "educated" people by that meaning those most of the imbred ignorent america put into power because of some catchy phrase or neat poster they saw on teh side of the road, seem to miss it. The thing that scares people of extreme religious views and red neck imbred basic ignorent asses... is that it's different. When we break it down to teh fundamental basics, the American Family has been crumbling since the first woman got a job... that's not saying that woman shouldn't work.. but men didnt' step back home to fill that void... no one did, between that, the advent of Television, and MTV the american family has been crumbling long before being GAY was ever a hot topic issue. But I digress.. basic and fundamental. Gay peopel dont' hurt us... they don't... if you are offended by a gay person you are the person in the wrong, because if you want to be sensable I dont' liek it when some shit kicker is slobering all over his girlfriend.. but it's their right as peopel, adn it's not my business... tasteless.. sure, but most of what we all do in public at some point crosses that line. but its' not worthy of a "Dont' offend me" amendment. but AGAIN I digress... here's my answer to teh gay issue... and all those against gays will disagree, but they have a right too, and frankly unlike them, I'm sad when others dont' share their differening ideas and (yet again unlike most of them) wouldnt' censor them. "We hold these truths, to be SELF EVIDENT, that ALL MEN, are created EQUAL...." Which implies more commone SENSE that most peopel are born with. there ya go... the BASIC FUNDAMENTAL IDEALS upon which this nation is founded, the thing that makes freedom freedom, is that we are ALL FREE... Someday all those right wing, hate mongering, violent mother fuckers are gonna wake up and realize that life isnt' a competion... that gay or peopel of other cultures and religions aren't our enemies... they're our brothers.. different... but in the end this world is gonna keep getting worse and worse until we start waking the fuck up and realize that we're all in this together... Life isnt'a competition, our lives arent' graded on a curve, If your religious, then look at this way, Jesus didnt' raise an army, he inspired hope and understanding.. it's YOU that's fucking all that up... but if you choose to hate and demean other human beings, have the decency to do it in your own name.. not his... he wasn't a man of hate and seperation.... There ya go.. all created equal... like it.. dont' liek it.. agree/disagree... there it is... it was the only thing written that in the end matters... you're my brother/sister, and if I could help you I would, because your'e no different than I. that's America, the part we forget most of the time... - -Kyron ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V9 #96 **********************************
