Now all i need is their self-titled and I will have every ND album (Beacon Street being my fave album!). Gwen has a dynamic voice that has so much range in terms of styles it works with. I am not a huge rap fan but I loved her duet with Eve (funny video too, Gwen Thuggin it ND style *Short platnimun blonde, white gal in police line up of rappers , snickers*) and her duet with Moby also rocked severly (wanna hear poe do a duet with moby!). I'm just wondering if she will ever do a duet with Gavin (sigh). I am just dying to hear Poe and Gwen together as I feel they are two of the most talented women in the biz. ~Kaden P.S. I preordered the Rock Steady Live DVD through Amazon since I had a gift certificate. The self-titled is good. I didn't like it at first, just had it to complete the collection, but it really grew on me last year. I agree that Beacon Street is great, you definately see the transition from self-titled to Beacon Street to Tragic Kingdom. But Tragic Kingdom is still my fave. - -Michael From: Alicia Hackney To: Michael Allison , angry-psychos@smoe.org Subject: Re: PR Non-Album Songs Date: Tue, 18 Nov 2003 19:37:18 -0800 (PST) Haven't preordered Boom Box yet, I had to preorder Linkin Park's Live in Texas DVD first but I'm preordering Boom Box this weekend. (It's only 3 tracks) Direct Link for the Lazy: http://poe.navelsex.com/files/Poe_-_In_the_Zone_(1997)/ Here's the little info I wrote up about it (thanks for the disco info shell :) Thanks to Matt for this CD!! Here's the info from the discography: 08/26/96 In Concert: New Rock #96-35 Dave Matthews Band (CD1)/Poe (CD2) 01/27/97 In The Zone #97-05 Poe (CD1 same as 8/96)/Eels (CD2) (basically it's one show that was "released" twice) Tracklisting: Segment 1 - -That Day - -Choking the Cherry - -Hello Segment 2 - -Fly Away - -Dolphin - -Beautiful Girl Segment 3 - -Angry Johnny - -Trigger Happy Jack I have left the commercials in due to laziness. Shoot me. :) MP3s were ripped from CD, encoded with LAME @ 192kbps. They are mono because the source only had the right channel, so I mono'ed it to make it sound more balanced. :) - -Ed poe.navelsex.com ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V8 #248 ***********************************
