I had boxes and boxes of Garbage Pale Kids cards when I was but a little one. Remember how they formed a puzzle with the pictures on the back? Man I wasted a lot of money on those cards and comics ;) And yes, I am still bitter about having to sell my 2000+ comics for $250.00 on ebay when I was out of work... Of course! HOL is infinately connected to Haunted... and I noticed some references to Poe's other work also, but I never hear anyone ever talking about their dad. Of course, we all know his voice well, and who can doubt that he has had a huge effect on every psycho's life? but didn't he make movies or something? Has anyone ever gotten a hold of any of his work? Has anyone ever looked into his accomplishments? I was just thinking about that. I read House of Leaves to understand Haunted better. It was an excellent book and deeply broadened my understanding of Danielewski conceptual art. In this case, wouldn't going back to the original source, their highly influencial father, give a great deal of insight into both works? I would like to get a hold of stuff that he did. Is it readily available? Does anyone know anything about it? ~Dre __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! A web search will turn up a lot more, including his acclaimed films.
