Subject: MZD and thanks! hey... there are...tons...thousands of things that go on between the "haunted" album and HoL. i mean, i am sure that you all are aware of that. i mean, when i started to read the book i found...a ot, but as i progressed i only found more! just amazing! as i have said before, those of you who have the "pink" "haunted" album, the one with the eighteenth track, that is just an excerpt from the book. and, "ba-da-ba-ba" is said...in a non-chalant way. something about the little girl daisy singing it to herself while her father, Navidson, erm, will, is in the Five and a half minute hallway. that in itself, the hallway, another connection. on the back of the booklet for "haunted" there is a huge list of "see also"s referring to HoL. i know what track you are talking about. i listened to them before... there are a lot of things different. i don't know what to say about them, some of them are pretty creepy. especially "enter the beast" (i think that's what it's called.) but let me just say this: there are only seven works of art that i can TRULY call beautiful in modern day media. 1) "haunted" 2) "hello" 3) the movie "requiem for a dream" 4) the movie "Nightmare before christmas 5) the movie "labyrinth" 6) "donnie darko" and finally 7) House of Leaves. my liking is very very limited. i mean, in modern media, those are the best seven things out there. there are things very close under those, but those are the top. they are not in order, though... HoL is ...genious. i finished it... it is...so.......awesome.... and... Haunted makes a lot more sense if you have read the book... or maybe the book makes more sense with the album... they go hand in hand, and you can only fully grasp one if you have the other. anyway, sorry. oh, thank you all for your support! i actually went in to talk to my school's guidance councelor... he helped a lot, but so did all of you! i actually feel good lately, and i ...am not freaking out about going to school, but it could all change. i mean, i don't get abused any less, but ...something has changed in me, i guess. thank all of you! oh, and just a personal note, i made THE ONE. lmao. that is what we call out yearbook cover. it is great. hehe! love you wes Wes* "Through dangers un-told, and hardships un-numbered......" -From the movie Labyrinth _________________________________________________________________ Help protect your PC.
